This wine is made from 100% Malagouzia grapes and has an alcohol by volume of 13%. It is classified as a level 1 on the dryness/sweetness scale, with a residual sugar content of 1.4. The wine contains sulphites and is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. In terms of taste, the wine presents a robust and lively bouquet with prominent notes of grapefruit, juicy nectarine, and delicate undertones of almond blossom. On the palate, it offers a rich and textured experience with a well-balanced variety of flavours and an impressive length. The finish is strikingly bright and enduring, leaving a lasting impression. This delicately aromatic wine exhibits light floral notes with hints of green apple, grapefruit, and white pepper, culminating in a zesty, mineral finish.
The grapes were destemmed, carefully sorted, and then lightly crushed before being cold soaked with skin contact. The must was fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and maintained on its fine lees or "sur lie" for two months with regular stirring, imparting a creamy texture and adding complexity to the wine.
A lively nose of grapefruit, nectarine, and hints of almond blossom leads to a richly textured palate with superb length, balance, and plenty of finesse. The finish is bright and zesty.

Winery | The Malagouzia grapes come from a single vineyard site known as "Turtles" because it is a nesting site for the local turtle population. The vineyard covers 36.35 hectares in the Amyndeon plateau. The vines are grown at 620 to 710 meters above sea level. Planted at a density of 5,900 vines per hectare, they yield 65 hectolitres per hectare, following green harvest and selection. The sandy soil to sandy clay over limestone offers the vines excellent drainage. When the grapes have reached optimal maturity, they are hand-harvested in 15-kilogram baskets to preserve the quality of the fruit. |
