- Brunello Montosoli is an intense nose ruby red that fades into garnet with ageing. On the nose, it denotes an exceptional personality with notes of black cherry, blackberry, raspberry, violet, liquorice, vanilla, and slight hints of pink pepper. On the palate, it reveals a dry, warm, velvety flavour, a rich texture, and a noble race. The finish is warm and lingeringly persuasive

Winery | The Altesino estate sits in the heart of southern Tuscany, approximately forty kilometres south of the City of Siena. Today, the borders of the Montalcino wine-producing region mirror those of the historical Municipality of the same name. Over the years, the area has remained largely unscathed by the influences of modern development, allowing it to retain its unique culture and beauty. These distinctive characteristics were recognised in 2004 when UNESCO declared Montalcino a World Heritage Site. Montalcino and its wines are inseparable. The old traditions and culture that shaped the region have strongly influenced the development of “Azienda Agricola Altesino” (winery and farm), for which the area is famous. |
