The Andeluna 1300 Uco Valley Malbec 2023 delivers a captivating expression of high-altitude Argentine Malbec. On the nose, rich, ripe aromas of black plum, Morello cherry, and blackcurrant unfold, layered with subtle hints of blackberry, nutmeg, and fresh herbs. The palate is lush and velvety, with a generous, silky texture and integrated tannins. Dark fruit flavours persist through a long, elegant finish, enriched with nuances of sous bois, vanilla, and a touch of oak spice.

Winery | The grapes were grown in vineyards located in Tupungato, at over 1,300 metres above sea level. The area is characterised by its wide diurnal temperature range, which produces grapes with a great intensity of colour and a distinctive aromatic expression. The vineyards are adequately irrigated through a drip management system, which provides exactly the right amount of water the plant needs. Canopy management in the vineyard controls yields and produces small, concentrated berries with perfect sun exposure. The vines are organically grown in alluvial, sandy soils and are manually harvested at optimum maturity. |
