Winery | The winter was mild, with slightly higher temperatures than the seasonal averages and slightly lower rainfall from January to April, followed by abundant rain in May and June. After the first summer months, providentially the climate changed to having high temperatures and high winds in September which gave freshness to the grapes before harvest on 11th September. It is produced from vineyards on the Tuscan coast with sandy soils in a very windy microclimate and vineyards in Montalcino with soils rich in clay and pebbles. Top wire cordon-trained |
