- A wine with excellent potential. On the nose, the scent is characterised by hints of red fruits with intense cherry tones, accompanied by spicy notes of liquorice and pepper. Broad structure, with sweet and powerful tannins, very balanced with a persistent finish.
Fermentation occurs in steel fermenters with maceration at 24°C until the last 3 days of alcoholic fermentation, when the wine is transferred into oak barrels. The Sangiovese is aged in casks of 60hl and 90hl, while the other varieties are aged in French oak barriques of 350l. (30% new, 70% maximum 5 years old) for 8 months.

Winery | The vines are grown on various soil types, from sandy clay sediments with abundant pebbles and well-draining to calcareous clay soils that retain humidity—trained on spur cordon and a Banfi Alberello (Gobelet) bush vine system. The planting density is 4,200 vines/ha, yielding 60 q/ha. |
