- This wine has an intense dark purple colour. Its aromas of white flowers and black fruit are wrapped in a touch of spiciness and minerality. The wine is rich and beautifully textured with velvety tannins. The floral and wild herb flavours last into the long and elegant finish.

The grapes were hand-harvested and sorted for optimal grape
selection. They underwent cold maceration for four days before
fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks with natural yeasts
at a controlled temperature of 24°C, with gentle pumpovers
twice daily. This was followed by an extended maceration period
of 30 days. Malolactic fermentation took place in oak barrels, and
the wine was then aged in neutral French oak for 24 months before bottling.
Overall, Calchaquí Valley enjoyed excellent conditions in 2018.
The total rainfall was 125 mm, falling during the spring, creating
the perfect conditions for a fertile growing season. This vintage
saw an excellent crop in both quality and quantity. During
maturity, the rain was low, so there was no botrytis development,
but there were many cloudy days, which imparted more freshness
to the fruit and reduced the risk of sun burn, leading to a more
elegant crop.
