- This wine is a deep ruby red colour and exudes the intense aromas of ripe cherry fruit. Its soft and medium-bodied structure presents a smooth and refreshing fruit palate. Despite its simplicity, the wine exudes an elegant and sophisticated character.
The Sangiovese grapes were manually harvested and immediately transferred to temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for fermentation. Daily pumping over and rack-and-return techniques obtained delicate flavour, colour, and tannin extraction. Malolactic conversion spontaneously followed fermentation, resulting in a softer expression. This wine was made in an unoaked style to showcase the purity of fruit.
An intense ruby red wine, this delivers concentrated aromas of cherry fruit. Soft and medium-bodied with a smooth, fresh fruit palate, it is elegant in its simplicity.

Winery | Cantina Bonacchi has been making fine Tuscan wines for three generations. The wines are produced from 40 hectares in the Chianti Montalbano area, 10 hectares divided between Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino, and 20 hectares in the Chianti Classico area. Modern technology and family expertise enable Bonacchi to offer excellent products from its four estates in Tuscany. The grapes for this Chianti are grown in the provinces of Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Pistoia, and Pisa. The climate here is continental, with long, hot summers and often cooler nights, which helps balance the grapes' fruit concentration with natural acidity. The vineyards are situated mainly on marl and limestone, which produce fresh and elegant wines. The vines are Cordon spur trained and are manually harvested at optimal ripeness. |
