Winery	Made from the Montepulciano variety grown in the Abruzzo region on Italy's Adriatic coast. The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC title was created in 1968 and covers a vast area of eastern Abruzzo. The vines are trained on the traditional overhead trellis system called Pergola Abruzzese and are grown in clay and limestone soils, which offer the ideal balance between nourishment during the warm summers from the clay component and elegance from the limestone.
