Talbott Vineyards
Talbott Vineyards crafts estate-grown Chardonnay and Pinot Noir into exquisite coastal wines from the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA. In 1950, Robert Talbott, founder of a luxury silk tie company, was introduced to and fell in love with the fine wines of France. He dreamt of using the Burgundian techniques he had become passionate about to make his Californian wines one day. Meanwhile, in 1972, the legendary Sleepy Hollow Vineyard was planted for the first time in the cool-climate region of the Santa Lucia Highlands. In 1982, Robert and his son, Robb, realised his dream and launched Talbott Vineyards. 1994, they acquired the Sleepy Hollow Vineyard to become an all-estate winery. For 30 years, their wines have consistently garnered praise from wine critics and enthusiasts alike, including a rare 100-point score for the 1990 vintage of the Sleepy Hollow Chardonnay from Wine Spectator during a special retrospective tasting in 1997. They are a certified Californian Sustainable Winegrower.
Senses Wines
Senses Wines is the dream of three childhood friends. Christopher, Max and Myles partnered with critically acclaimed winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown to produce world-class wines from renowned vineyards owned by their families. Since its founding in 2011, Senses Wine's production has grown to include many coveted vineyard sites throughout northern California. The estate vineyards are located in the West Sonoma Coast and Russian River Valley, specifically just outside the town of Occidental, where the three founders grew up. The second letter ‘e’ on the label has been substituted with the number ‘3’ representing the three founders and wine senses of sight, scent and sip. They believe the vineyards are their greatest asset and meticulously farm each vine so the winemaking process can be as hands-off as possible. This approach ensures complexity and finesse for each wine, vintage after vintage, and their stunning wines are a testament to their dedicated passion.
Scribe Winery
Scribe Winery produces vibrant, terroir-driven wines from Sonoma, California. The winery was founded in 2007 on a property that helped pioneer pre-prohibition Sonoma Valley wine-making and is managed by fourth-generation California farmers and brothers Andrew and Adam Mariani. The Marianis believe the best wines result from a healthy relationship between man and nature. A vineyard managed in harmony with the greater ecosystem results in more site-specific, terroir-driven grapes. When vinified with non-interventionist natural methods, the result is a distinct wine that speaks vividly of its provenance.
