- The wine is exquisite and ethereal, offering notes of red fruits alongside hints of violet and oak spice. It displays a seamless balance, with a velvety, textured palate and a prolonged, delightful finish.
The skins were macerated for 10 to 15 days at 25 to 30°C. The frequent pump-overs used special pumps designed to move the skins and seeds gently. The wine was aged for two years in 5,500-litre oak barrels, while a small proportion was aged in French barriques. After bottling, the wine was aged in Carpineto's temperature-controlled cellars for at least six months before release.
It is an exquisite, ethereal wine delivering red fruits with hints of violet and oak spice. It is beautifully balanced with an elegantly textured, velvety palate and a long finish.

| Winery | The estate covers 84.5 hectares of dry-farmed vineyards among the rolling hills of the Vino Nobile region of Tuscany. The vineyards are planted with at least 70% Sangiovese (known locally as Prugnolo Gentile), Canaiolo and international grape varietals. These vineyards are trained according to modern trellising methods, with clones and rootstocks varying according to soil type. Planting densities here often exceed 8,500 plants per hectare, yielding wines of great concentration and finesse. |
