- This elegant red wine showcases an exceptional richness of ripe plum and blueberry flavours, accented by subtle hints of herbs and refreshing mint. Its luxuriously soft tannins create a long and intense finish, offering a truly sophisticated expression of Tuscan winemaking at its finest.
The grapes were carefully harvested by hand, and when perfectly ripe, they were then sorted. They were fermented in small 50-hectoliter, temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to maximize skin contact for 10 to 15 days. The wine was then aged in 225-litre French oak barrels for 20 months, followed by about seven months of cellar in the bottle before it was released.
This elegant red wine offers abundant ripe plum and blueberry flavours, complemented by hints of herbs and a delicate touch of mint. Its rich, soft, luxurious tannins lead to a long, intense finish. This is Tuscan sophistication at its best.

Winery | The grapes for this wine are carefully picked from the Ripa delle More vineyard, located 255 to 265 meters above sea level. The vines are over 20 years old and are sustainably grown using the Guyot pruning method to keep yields low, at around 42 hectoliters per hectare. The vineyard's soil, known as Galestro', is a rocky, schistous clay soil commonly found in Tuscany's top vineyards, with 30% heavy clay. |
