- It is an exceptional Champagne with sublime aromas of exotic fruits layered with cinnamon spice, dried fruit, candied zest, roasted hazelnuts, and brioche. It is complex, rich, and intense, with a remarkable freshness and an exquisite finish.
A rare cuvée, which is only produced every five to six years. The grapes were carefully hand-harvested, followed by traditional vinification. The Amazone incorporates a solera of Chardonnay, which comprises 18% of the blend, imbuing the wine with wonderful complexity and elegance. It was cellared in May 2013 and subsequently bottleaged on the lees for nine to 10 years in the 18-metre-deep chalk cellars. Dosage 6 g/l.
