Cellar master Xavier Berdin skillfully blends varieties, growths and reserve wines with harmony and passion until the perfect balance is reached: the epitome of the Palmer & Co. style. The grapes were carefully hand-harvested, and vinification took place using the traditional method. In the spirit of perpetual, true reserve wine, this Chardonnay-dominated blend comprised a high proportion of reserve wines, typically between 30 to 40% of previous La Réserve blends, contributing a rare fullness and maturity. This cuvée matured for three to four years on the lees in a bottle in the 18-metre-deep chalk cellars and received a 6-7 g/l dosage.
