- This Chardonnay Pinot is an absolute delight! A complex, elegant nose with citrus and bready notes leads to a fresh, crisp, and fruity palate, followed by a soft, mouth-filling finish. Bright, bracing, and lively, it offers notions of orchard fruit, pineapple, baled hay, and melon. It’s quite leesy, with lovely aroma replays plus a waxy presence in the mouth. The mouth-watering, layered finish offers solid value in bubbly Vouvray.

| Winery | Deakin Estate was established in 1967 and named in honour of Alfred Deakin, a former Australian Prime Minister who pioneered irrigation in this arid region. It was recently acquired by Calabria Family Vineyards, a third-generation family-run business with a history in winemaking dating back to 1927. The family is proud owners of vineyards in Riverina and the Barossa Valley and sources grapes from local growers across a range of Australia’s best wine regions. |
