- The wine is crafted predominantly from Cabernet Sauvignon, contributing to its complex profile featuring luscious aromas of ripe blackcurrant, mingled with the woody scent of cedar and the earthy essence. While sipping, you will notice the interplay of flavours such as bilberry, subtle spices, and delicate undertones of the cigar, all wrapped in velvety, mature tannins. This wine boasts a wonderful equilibrium, remarkable depth, and a solid framework, culminating in a refined, spiced finish.
The grapes were manually sorted and destemmed before being gently pressed. Fermentation occurred in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats for four weeks, with each plot vinified separately. The malolactic conversion took place in the stainless steel tanks. The wine was then matured in French oak 225-litre barriques for 16 months.
The majority of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend yields a wine with ripe blackcurrant, cedar tree, and earthy aromas. Notes of cherry, cranberry, spice, and hints of liquorice continue on the palate, enveloped in smooth, ripe tannins. This wine shows lovely balance, depth, and structure with an elegant finish.
