- This superb rosé hails from the renowned Provence region and is meticulously crafted from a blend of grapes from old vines in clay and gravel soils. The winemaking process is marked by exacting precision, with careful grape selection, meticulous destemming, and the utilization of cutting-edge optical sorting technology to guarantee the highest quality standard. Following this, the juice undergoes vinification in stainless steel tanks, a method chosen to preserve the inherent freshness and vibrancy of the fruits. To further enhance the wine's character, periodic "bâtonnage" (stirring) of the yeast lees is employed, resulting in a wine that exudes an invigorating freshness and a beautifully rounded mouthfeel.

This superb Provence rosé is made from a blend of old vines on clay and gravel soils, using techniques to ensure the highest quality by picking and destemming the grapes and using optical sorting technology to ensure each grape is the best. The juice is vinified in stainless steel to preserve the fresh fruits with battonnage (stirring) of the yeast lees to make fresh and round wine.

Winery | Located in the heart of Cotes de Provence, 40 kilometres north of the coast above Saint Tropez (up in the rocky limestone hillsides of the valley of Esclans away from the sandy flatlands). Today, Chateau D’Esclans consists of 140 hectares of vineyards (producing estate vineyard and bottled roses). The total property is 427 hectares. This estate is in the heart of the Esclans Valley and has had many owners over the years, but what would change its destiny was the arrival of Sacha Lichine in 2006. |
