Winery | The terroir in the vineyard is characterised by large pebbles that are remnants of Alpine glaciers that have been smoothed over millennia by the Rhone. These pebbles absorb and store the heat from the sun during the day and release it at night, encouraging the vines to ripen the grapes. The vines have established a deep root system, enabling them to draw the mineral elements they need to grow and provide a complex flavour to the resulting wine. The Mediterranean sunshine is vital to the maturation and phenolic ripeness of the grapes. |
