The grapes are from the highest quality growers' vineyards with long-standing partnerships with the winery. The most prominent soils are deep clay-limestone
The grapes underwent slow pressing at a low temperature, followed by cold stabilisation and settling. Fermentation occurred at a low temperature, and maturation occurred in stainless steel tanks on the Ane lees.

| Winery | Château La Coste is a stunning amphitheatre-shaped estate near Aix-en-Provence, bought in 2002 by Irish businessman and hotelier Patrick McKillen. His ambition has been to produce exceptional wine in a unique destination, harnessing his art world connections and hospitality experience. Dotted among 130 hectares of organic vineyard are over forty buildings and art installations from the world’s greatest architects, including Richard Rogers, Frank Gehry and Renzo Piano, plus artworks by contemporary figures such as Louise Bourgeois, Tracey Emin and Damien Hirst. Restaurants by Francis Mallmann and Hélène Darroze provide a gastronomic setting for visitors to experience the crisp, characterful wines of the estate. |
