- This elegantly styled Sauvignon shows great typicity and minerality, with delicate hints of yellow peppers, sage, and melon. The palate is fresh, full-bodied, and confidently aromatic, with a long finish.
Classic winemaking techniques were used, with low-temperature skin contact overnight. The grapes were gently pressed, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks that lasted approximately two weeks. The wine remained on its fine lees until maturation was complete.

Winery | The vineyards are located in DOC Collio, in San Floriano del Collio and Gorizia. The cordon spur and Guyot-trained Sauvignon Blanc vines are planted at a density of 5,000 vines per hectare and yield 90 quintals per hectare. The soils in the hilly region are rich in sandstone with alternating marl layers, producing aromatic wines. The soils offer a good balance of water retention to nourish the vines throughout the summer and ample drainage if required. Gentle sea breezes come from the Adriatic Sea, which keeps the vines dry and healthy, while the Alps protect the vineyards from cold, northerly winds. Warm days and cool nights offer the perfect combination to allow slow maturation of the grapes, maintaining a beautiful balance between natural acidity and sugar levels. |
