- An elegant Pinot Grigio showing floral notes with characteristic hints of citrus fruits. It is well balanced on the palate with delicate savoury notes enveloped in a silky texture and delivers a long, elegant finish.
The grapes, which were harvested at full ripeness, were pressed immediately to retain freshness. Fermentation was carried out in steel vats for approximately two weeks at controlled temperatures of 14 to 16 °C. The wine was gently fined and matured on its fine lees until the following spring, adding texture and complexity.
Quintessential Pinot Grigio shows floral notes with characteristic hints of citrus fruits. It is crisp and beautifully balanced on the palate, with delicate savoury notes extending to a long, elegant finish with a touch of spice.

Winery | The grapes are grown in the San Floriano del Collio, Gorizia, Cormans and Mossa territories in DOC Collio. The soils in the hilly region are rich in sandstone with alternating layers of marl, which produces aromatic wines. The soils offer a good balance of water retention to nourish the vines throughout the summer and ample drainage if required. Gentle sea breezes come from the Adriatic Sea, which keeps the vines dry and healthy, while the Alps protect the vineyards from cold, northerly winds. Warm days and cool nights offer the perfect combination to allow slow maturation of the grapes, maintaining a beautiful balance between natural acidity and sugar levels. The vines are trained to the Cordon Spur and Guyot methods and are planted to a density of 4,500 to 5,000 per hectare. |
