- A fruity red blend is bursting with red berried fruit and appealing tobacco undertones. It is beautifully balanced, with juicy fruit on the palate and a velvety smooth finish.
The grapes were fermented using traditional red vinification methods in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats using wild, indigenous yeasts. The wild yeasts help impart the best expression of the terroir. 30% of the fruit underwent carbonic maceration, resulting in a fruit-forward style with soft tannins. Maturation lasted for three months in steel vats, and the wine was bottled young to preserve the fresh, fruity character of the blend.

Winery | The single vineyard 'Conversino' is situated in the DOC Colli Martani and DOC Montefalco, directly opposite the hill town of Assisi in Central Umbria. The hilly terrain has mineral-rich, clay-calcareous soils with good water retention properties to sustain the vines through the long, hot summers. Part of the vineyard is cool, flat land. The vineyard benefits from gentle breezes in this hillside location, which aerate the vines, keeping them healthy. The spur-cordon-trained vines are planted at a density of 4,000 vines per hectare and produce low yields. The vineyard is cultivated to ensure the soil is balanced, biodiversity is preserved, and the grapes are hand-harvested in the early morning to maintain freshness and fully express the land's essence. |
