- Fresh and still youthful aromas comprise notes of cool essence of red berries, earth, spice, and a whiff of wood character. The round, supple, and relatively forward middle-weight flavours evidence plenty of minerality on the focused, sneaky long finish that tightens up noticeably as it sits on the palate. This well-made and utterly delicious effort isn't seductive, but I like the delivery and balance. While it could certainly be enjoyed now, I would continue to hold it for another decade.
