- (With thanks to Dr. Reed Day). A ripe and overtly spicy nose is now completely secondary in character, though evidence shows no sous-bois. The rich, round and utterly delicious middle-weight flavours exhibit a subtle minerality on the focused finish that really fans out as it sits on the palate. To my taste, this has now peaked, and there is little further development to be had. This should have no problem holding at this level for another decade, perhaps even longer. Tasted multiple times with consistent notes.
