- This Picpoul de Pinet offers great freshness and aromatic floral notes, with pear, pineapple, and a hint of honey, leading to a long, deliciously mouthwatering finish.
The fruit arrived at night at temperatures of 14 to 18°C. The carefully selected grapes were then gently pressed, and the juice was chilled to 6°C and cold-settled. Fermentation took place with selected yeasts at maximum temperatures of 16 to 17°C in stainless steel tanks to retain the pure fruit flavours and characteristics of the Piquepoul variety.

Winery | The estate vineyard is planted in the AOP of Picpoul de Pinet, just three kilometres from the de Thau. This large lagoon influences the climate by contributing to cooler evenings and nights and depositing humidity onto the vine leaves, translating into the wine's vibrant freshness. The vines are converted to organic status; therefore, using sprays and chemicals is prohibited. All treatments are based on copper, sulphur and citrus essential oils, as permitted in organic viticulture. Weeding occurs mechanically, and covering grass is being trialled to help limit soil erosion and bring nitrogen into the soil. The fruit is harvested at night to preserve the freshness of the berries. |
