Domaine Gilbert & Christine Felettig Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Carrieres 2015
Domaine Gilbert & Christine Felettig Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Carrieres 2015
- Country France
- Region Burgundy
- Grape Pinot Noir
- Case Burgundy
-
2015 Chambolle-Musigny “Les Carrières”: (there are only two owners of Les Carrières, and Felettig is the only producer from a .40 ha parcel). A restrained mix of floral elements combined with notes of plum and dark raspberry, all of which are trimmed in subtle wood. There is solid size, weight, and volume to the tautly muscular flavours that possess excellent mid-palate concentration, plenty of power on the mouth coating, and a balanced and beautifully persistent finish. This is impressive but will require at least 6 to 8 years of cellaring first and should reward 12 to 15.
93 points Allen Meadows, Burghound /2027+
