The Domaine Jean Goulley Chablis 2023 showcases the exceptional purity of Chardonnay from one of the most esteemed wine-growing regions in France. This organic Chablis is a delightful and vegan wine that epitomizes the crisp and mineral-driven profile the Chablis region is famous for. The wine is entirely crafted from Chardonnay grapes, presenting a perfect balance of citrus fruit notes with a delicate minerality. Its light saline finish provides a refreshing touch, making it a standout expression of classic Chablis.

On the palate, Domaine Jean Goulley Chablis 2023 offers great structure with an elegant mouthfeel and a long finish, which culminates in a soft, nutty hint of almond. The wine's characteristic razor-sharp finish makes it an excellent choice for food pairings, particularly with seafood, poultry, or soft cheeses.

This wine is sustainably produced, with no milk or eggs used in its production, and it is suitable for vegans and vegetarians alike. The organic nature of this wine further enhances its appeal, allowing wine enthusiasts to enjoy a wine made with respect for both the environment and the traditions of Burgundy.

Domaine Jean Goulley was formed in 1986 by Jean Goulley and is now run by his granddaughter, Maud. In January 2022, Maud took over from her father, Philippe, who was involved in the estate for nearly 40 years. The family owns 4.5 hectares in the Premier Cru appellations, which are the heart and soul of the Domaine. They own approximately 18 hectares in total. 1991 the Domaine became one of Chablis's first certified organic producers. All vineyards are farmed organically, and the wines are produced with restricted use of sulphur. The Goulley family believes that organic farming methods permit expressive and sustainable soil. Their wines are mineral, pure and lively.

Philippe and Maud Goulley believe in organic farming and minimal intervention; all of their vineyards are certified organic. The double Guyot-trained vines are grown in Kimmeridgian soils, rich in clay and limestone and contain fossilised seashells. The yields are kept to a maximum of 60 hectolitres per hectare.
