  • A fresh and lively Sancerre, offering pure aromas of peach, orange zest, and delicate almond nuances. Crisp and elegant, with beautiful mineral tension on the palate through a zesty, mouthwatering finish.

The grapes were carefully selected and gently pressed before the must was vinified in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Fermentation took place with selected yeasts and once fermentation was complete, the wine was matured on its lees imparting texture and subtle complexity. This cuvée was made without the influence of oak, to showcase the purity of fruit and express the Sancerre terroir.

A fresh and lively Sancerre, offering pure aromas of peach, orange zest and delicate almond nuances. Crisp and elegant, with beautiful mineral tension on the palate through to a zesty, mouthwatering finish.

The estate covers 20 hectares in the heart of Sancerre, mostly surrounding the village of Thauvenay. The grapes for this cuvée come from 11 hectares of vines, which are planted with a south-easterly exposure and have an average age of 30 to 35 years. There are three main soil types in this vineyard: calcareous clay, which is cool soil with high limestone content, imparting finesse and elegance; siliceous clay which includes a flinty component imparting mineral notes, and sandy clay, which brings complexity to the wine. The vineyard is currently in conversion to organic status, a natural progression for the Laloue family as the farming methods used over many years have followed these principles. Vineyard management techniques include plowing the soil instead of using herbicides, growing cover crops between the rows of vines, and sexual confusion of predators, to maintain the health of the vines and the biodiversity of the environment. The estate has been HVE-certified since 2020.
