- A delicious wine showing restrained lemon and mineral aromatics through to a vibrant and persistent finish. Spicy undertones enhance the aromas of exotic fruits. Notes of fresh flowers, such as chamomile, freshly picked stoned fruits and candied citron, are balanced by a crisp palate with a lovely creamy texture and distinct minerality on the finish.

The grapes were carefully selected before fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of between 16 to 18°C. This helped to capture all the purity of fruit and varietal characteristics of the Fiano variety. The wine was then matured on its lees for four to five months, with frequent bâtonnage for greater texture and complexity. Massimo Vignelli designed the distinctive bottle, embracing the wine with elegant fluting.
Inviting notes of chamomile, stone fruits, and candied citron lead to a refreshing palate with a lovely creamy texture and distinct mineral notes on the finish.

Winery | Only the finest Fiano grapes have been carefully selected for this wine. The beautiful Feudi di San Gregorio vineyards are spread out over lush and gentle hills in Sorbo Serpico, approximately an hour from Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The soils are volcanic, sandstone and marl. Each vineyard is closely monitored with a meteorological station, and combined with the technologies of the new state-of-the-art wine cellar, they ensure that each vintage comes as close to perfection as possible. The soil in the vineyards is predominantly volcanic, which imparts a distinctive minerality to the resulting wine. With the sustainable Equalitas certification, the vineyards are cultivated using ecological practices to maintain the equilibrium of the environment. Soil and fertiliser management strategies are employed, pesticides are not used, biodiversity is positively encouraged, and weeding does not occur between the rows of vines. |
