- Lovely minerality and dry and zesty notes of orange peel complemented by peach melba lead to a mouthwatering, saline, and flinty finish. Serrocielo is a true expression of Falanghina, delivering delicate floral notes with exotic, zesty fruit aromas. Vibrant fruit flavours on the palate lead to a soft texture and a lovely minerality on the persistent finish.

90 pts, James Suckling, 2022
The grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness and fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of 16 to 18°C. The wine was then matured on its lees in stainless steel tanks for five months, imparting texture and complexity.
Fresh and intense notes of delicate white flowers and stone fruits lead to a refreshing, well-balanced wine with lovely minerality and a long, clean, zesty lemon finish.

Winery | The beautiful Feudi di San Gregorio vineyards are spread out over lush and gentle hills in Sorbo Serpico, about an hour from Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The soils are uniquely volcanic, sandstone and marl. Each vineyard is closely monitored with a meteorological station, and the technologies of the new state-of-the-art wine cellar ensure that each vintage comes as close to perfection as possible. With the sustainable Equalitas certification, the vineyards are cultivated using ecological practices to maintain the equilibrium of the environment. Soil and fertiliser management strategies are employed, pesticides are not used, biodiversity is positively encouraged, and weeding does not occur between the rows of vines. |
