- 100% Chardonnay. The rich aroma of white flowers, citrus fruits, and brioche. Creamy, acidic, and long finish. I thought the taste was metallic, a bit bitter, and a bit hot. The bubbles were fine…. Overall, this wine was OK. This wine will probably do the job if you need some bubbles but not something I’m personally going to be drinking a lot of in the future.

This refreshing cuvée from the Côteaux du Sézannais region is reminiscent of delicate exotic fruits. Its promises? Gourmandise, dynamism, and a table of guests begging for a second glass.
Champagne Blanc de Blancs Brut will be amazing paired with a veal onglet in a hazelnut crust, served alongside a risotto with oyster mushrooms and Comté cheese.
The Coteaux du Sezannais vineyard is a magnificent terroir spread over 12 communes and 1477 ha. Predominantly chalky soil creates an ideal environment for Chardonnay. In contrast, the presence of clay and sandy soils contributes to producing complex, ripe, and fruitier wines compared to those from the northern region.

Winery | EPC Champagne was established in 2019 by three friends, Jérôme Queige, Camille Gilardi and Édouard Roy. With a penchant for the epicurean lifestyle, this dynamic trio are committed to shaking up the traditional Champagne process. Working with select grower partners, each cuvée represents a specific terroir. Cellarmaster Richard Dailly works closely with EPC’s grower partners (all of whom practice sustainable viticulture or are transitioning to organic or biodynamic viticulture) to co-create the wines. By pooling his expertise with the growers’ often under-utilised equipment, EPC boosted both efficiency and excellence, resulting in champagnes of top quality and extremely good value. |
