- Deep purple color with an attractive magenta hue. Intense aromas include ripe plums, cherries, violets, mineral notes, vanilla and chocolate (from the wine’s aging in French Oak), and some spice. Harmonious on the palate, with balanced acidity and delicate tannins, making for a persistent finish.
The grapes were hand-picked. Twenty percent of the wine spent 8 months in French oak, and the remaining 80% was left in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 8 months.
