- An elegant, crisp, and captivating Albariño is full of ripe pear and apple, with hints of ripe melon, floral notes, and lemon peel, which leads to a lively, fresh finish.
The entire harvest passed through an optical sorting machine, the first winery in Rías Baixas with this system, discarding grapes that did not meet the strict parameters. After cooling the must to 10°C and maceration, the fruit was pressed in an inert atmosphere to prevent oxidation. After racking, the clean must be fermented at 15°C. For this vintage, the wine did not undergo malolactic conversion, retaining the characteristic vibrancy of Albariño. The wine rested in tanks on its fine lees until bottling, suspended by periodic stirrings imparting complexity to the wine.

Winery | The Albariño grapes are carefully selected from the estate plots in O Rosal and O Salnés in D.O. Rías Baixas. The terroir of O Rosal consists of schist soils, while the soils in O Salnés are predominantly granite. Each terroir lends different nuances to the wines, but the soils in both subregions are rich in organic matter. The distinctive mesoclimate imparts natural, fresh acidity to the wine, and the proximity to the ocean also imparts characteristic minerals and saline notes. |
