- Red plums and mulberries are delivered in bright, pure style here, with dark, violet florals and savoury notes such as cedar, gunflint, and cloves. The palate offers a compelling array of purple berry and plum flavours that completely coat the mouth. It is so harmonious, and its resolve, depth, and purity are impressive. Long and pure darkberry flavours abound.
Low rainfall in winter and spring, combined with devastating frost events, delayed the summer ripening season. It was a tricky harvest, but patience (and a bit of luck) paid off in the end, and some exceptional wines were the ultimate result.

| Winery | The fruit was hand-harvested and transported to the winery, cooled overnight and hand-sorted. Maceration lasted six weeks with minimal pump-overs and temperatures ranging from 12 to 27C. The wine was pressed into a tank and allowed to settle for seven days before oak maturation. A range of coopers were used in the wine’s development. |
