- Very clean, nicely balanced Pinot Grigio, with a gentle floral aroma, good medium weight in the mouth, and a refreshing finish. Characterized by its balance, finesse, and elegance, this wine is produced exclusively with grapes from our vineyards along the Adige Valley at the foothills of the Dolomites. Mezzacorrona classic! It is clean and nicely balanced, with a gentle floral aroma and a refreshing finish. A straw-yellow colour and a crispy fruit flavour with hints of chamomile characterise this wine. Dry and elegant with a delicate acidity.

Mezzacorona was founded in 1904, one of Italy's first growers’ associations. If it was progressive, then it remains so, with a state-of-the-art winery and meticulous viticulture bringing out the full potential of its 2,400 hectares of vineyards. Those vineyards are to be found on the plains and terraces of the Dolomite foothills, stretching between Lake Garda and the Alps to the north. This is, therefore, a sizeable and varied resource, and its management by one company carries an important benefit. Each vineyard site is planted to the grape variety best suited to its particular characteristics. If the growers worked individually, they might each hedge their bets by planting a mixture of varieties, some more appropriate than others. But instead, we see optimization on a grand scale.

| Winery | The name Rotari derives from the Longobard King Autari, who fought one of the most important battles along the valleys of this territory in his conquest of Italy and made history with his famous “Edict of Rotari”, a book about the rules of winemaking.
