- A distinct lack of sunshine post veraison followed a beautiful, almost perfect, growing season. Humidity, bird pressure, lack of dry weather, and the sun made 2021 a tougher-than-usual vintage. Our reds crawled to the finish line regarding ripeness – seeing us still picking in early May—however, plenty of this created spice in those later picked reds. Bright berry flavours and mixed spices are the hallmarks of Shiraz from this vintage.
Deep purple.

Medium-to-full bodied, terrifically balanced by a pure acid line. Spicy notes backed by an elegant tannin structure, thyme and rosemary peeking through the concentrated berry flavours.

Winery | Mount Langi Ghiran is nestled in the foothills of the 400-million-year-old granite massif. Over time, Mother Nature's forces have cast rock fragments to the mountain's base, creating a formation we know as Talus. |
