Winery | The home of Niel Joubert Wines is on the slopes of the Simonsberg mountain, on the outskirts of Paarl in the Western Cape Winelands. It is a sizable wine and fruit farm with breathtaking landscapes, five hills, and ten dams nourished by a natural mountain spring. In addition to a large selection of grapes, the soil has enough water and variation to successfully cultivate apples, pears, peaches, plums, tangerines, lemons, and blueberries. The Joubert family, trained horticulturists and wine growers has owned the farm since 1898 and has continued to administer it personally to the fifth generation. Due to their dedication to high-quality production and pride in their accomplishments, the wine brand was named Niel Joubert Wines in 1994 in honour of the third-generation patriarch and father of the present owner, Daan Joubert. |
