The grapes were harvested by hand.
The must was fermented for ten days, with skin contact throughout, then aged in stainless steel tanks before bottling in the March following the vintage.
Zweigelt, a signature Austrian red grape, produces a vivacious, refreshing, juicy wine full of cherry and blackberry fruit. Its sophisticated gloss is typical of Austrian reds. Zweigelt likes being served slightly chilled—pure pleasure!
