- The 2022 Meursault is a rich, luxurious wine, displaying delicate floral aromas, a hint of vanilla, and perfect balance. It has a fresh and elegant finish. The vintage experienced dry, hot, and early weather conditions. Early flowering was prompted by warm spring weather, followed by continued heat throughout the summer. Although there were localized thunderstorms with hail and rain at the end of June, the vines were refreshed. July and August were exceptionally hot and dry. These weather conditions helped maintain the exceptional health of the vines throughout the season. The grapes were harvested in excellent, healthy conditions, displaying remarkable ripeness and luscious fruit characteristics.
The grapes were gently pressed in a pneumatic press to extract the juice before being transferred to French oak barrels. Fermentation took place on the fine lees with regular batonnage to impart texture and complexity. The wine was aged 12 months in French oak barrels, of which 30% were new and bottled after a very light clarification.
A golden, rich Meursault with delicate floral aromas, a touch of vanilla, and beautiful balance—all the hallmarks of finesse and opulence. The finish is fresh and elegant.

Winery | From the renowned Meursault appellation, the terroir at the bottom of the slopes has deep, clay soils with good water retention properties that help nourish the vines throughout any dry spells during the ripening period. The soil is more superficial and stonier at the top of the slope, where the vines are planted in limestone subsoil, which gives the wines elegance and distinct mineral nuances. The vineyard has an easterly exposure to the rising sun. The climate is continental, with cool winters allowing the vine to rest and warm summers with good diurnal temperature shifts encouraging balanced ripening. The vineyard is converted to organic status; the vines are cultivated without using chemicals or herbicides, and the ecology and biodiversity of the vineyard are respected. The vines, which have an average age of 50 years, are Guyot or Guyot-Poussard trained according to the vines' needs and are carefully harvested by hand into 25-kg cases. |
