- Aromatic vanilla spice and raspberry summer pudding with spicy notes of tapenade and liquorice on the finish. This Cannonau, a deep, rich red colour, shows lashings of mature red fruits combined with delicate hints of spice on the nose. The dry and pleasantly flavoured palate is elegant yet full-bodied in style.
The grapes were hand-harvested from the best bunches in the vineyard. Vinification occurred with selected yeast in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of 20 to 22°C. The wine underwent maceration for 10 days to extract the desired flavours, colour, and aromatics before being bottle aged.

Winery | Cannonau is the most important and exclusive red wine grape native to Sardinia, as it is thought to be the oldest variety in the Mediterranean. The vineyard is located on a gentle slope between Alghero and Sassari. It sits atop a mixture of geological formations such as calcareous marne, conglomerate and sandstone. The vineyard is planted with a high density of vines. The newest innovations are implemented in cultivating the vineyard while respecting the traditions and ecosystem of the geographical location. Pruning and harvesting take place manually. The meticulous selection of grape clusters ensures optimum quality. |
