- A celebration of this versatile grape and our unique terroir. Our Riesling vines are now more than 30 years old. These established roots extend deep into our ancient soils, giving the finished wine characteristic minerality and greater intensity and complexity. The vintage is crisp, dry, and refreshing with wonderfully balanced acidity. The fruit was the whole cluster pressed and free-run separated. A long, cool ferment in stainless steel tanks enhanced the aromatics of the wine and its vibrant, fresh fruit character. Ready to drink now, or age in your cellar for 5-8 years. With cellaring the wine will become more honeyed and complex.

The vintage opens with green apples, white flowers, and apricot aromas. Bright citrus notes on the palate are complemented by balanced acidity throughout. This Dry Riesling pairs perfectly with soft cheeses such as creamy Brie, Camembert, or feta cheese, served with lightly pickled veggies. Also, try with a Vietnamese Lemongrass Vermicelli bowl, Thai fish cakes, or a tomato panzanella salad.

Winery | Quails’ Gate can trace its origins back to 1908, when the Stewart family first settled in Canada's Okanagan Valley, although the family planted vines for the first time in 1961, and the winery was founded in 1989. Since then, Quails’ Gate has become one of the leading producers of premium wines in British Columbia, and under current CEO Tony Stewart, the founding family remains committed to the winery. They are also committed to preserving their picturesque location with a demonstrable focus on sustainability and environmental stewardship by applying low-impact viticultural practices. |
