- Louis Jadot Echezeaux is a solid, well-constituted, powerful, and delicate wine. It develops fine and intense Pinot Noir fruity aromas and spice notes. It is very long in the mouth.
This season of extreme summer temperatures, one of the hottest and sunniest on record, led to lower yields. However, despite low yields, the quality and concentration are outstanding, with wines of great character. This wine is fermented in vats for 3-4 weeks and then aged 15-18 months in oak barrels before bottling.

| Winery | The Echezeaux vines extend to 360m above sea level on up to 15% slopes. The soils vary within the vineyard but are relatively deep, even in the top sections. They are composed mainly of fine siltstone, clay, and pebbles over the hard limestone base where most of Vosne-Romanee rests. This depth and richness of the soil provide for the quality of the wines. |
