- This classic Chianti offers a delightful bouquet of ripe cherry, luscious blackberry, rich blackcurrant, and vibrant red fruits, accented by subtle hints of vanilla. It delivers a full-bodied and velvety texture on the palate with a beautifully balanced profile that extends to a lingering, satisfying finish.
The Sangiovese grapes were manually harvested and were immediately transferred to temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for fermentation. Daily pumping over and rack and return techniques obtain delicate flavour, colour and tannin extraction. The malolactic conversion followed fermentation spontaneously. The wine spent one year in stainless steel retaining the purity of fruit, before being decanted into a combination of large French oak barrels for six to 12 months.
This traditional Chianti has aromas of cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant, and red fruits with hints of vanilla. The palate is full and velvety, with harmonious balance throughout the long finish.

Winery | Cantina Bonacchi has been making fine Tuscan wines for three generations. The wines are produced from 40 hectares in the Chianti Montalbano area, 10 hectares divided between Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino, and 20 hectares in the Chianti Classico area. Modern technology and family expertise enable Bonacchi to offer excellent products from its four estates in Tuscany. The cordon spur-trained vines are planted in marl and limestone soils. Once they have reached optimal ripeness, the grapes are harvested using traditional methods, ensuring top quality in the final product. |
