- It is a complex wine full of finesse, with fruity notes of blackberry, cherry, and liquorice enveloped in exquisitely integrated oak. A full-bodied palate with ripe tannins finishes with textured, long-lasting depth.

Vinification takes place purely by gravity, without the use of pumps and a philosophy of minimal intervention is followed to respect the characteristics of the fruit and its provenance. Fermentation occurred at carefully controlled temperatures with wild yeasts, and several tastings took place daily to achieve the desired characteristics, culminating in 23 days' maceration. The wines were then transferred to French (80%) and American (20%) oak barrels to mature for a minimum of 14 months before the final blending.

| Winery | The grapes come from six villages in the Ribera del Duero, from vines with an average age of 30. Each plot has a different soil structure, contributing complexity to the resulting wine. The vines are carefully tended throughout the year with patience, specialized craftsmanship, and manual work. Emphasis is placed on keeping the vine healthy, with winter pruning, bunch thinning, and shoot thinning all taking place to capture the personality of the terroir. The grapes are hand-harvested at optimum maturity. They follow a philosophy of keeping yields low and striving to keep the soils healthy, allowing the grapes to express the characteristics of their terroir fully. |
