Fincas Valdemacuco is Bodegas Valdemar's first foray outside Rioja. They have poured over a century of winemaking experience into this new venture from Spain’s other great Tempranillo-producing region. The grapes come from selected vineyards in the Nava de Roa district near the Duero River itself and offer a distinctive clarity and freshness of fruit, which sensitive winemaking and a brief passage in oak barrels have enhanced.
