- Intense aromas of sweet plums are combined with notes of chocolate and vanilla. Opulent flavours of ripe fruits complement the smooth, velvety, balanced palate with a long, mouthwatering finish. Delicious.
The hand-harvested grapes were fermented in 25,000-litre open stainless steel tanks for seven days with selected yeasts at controlled temperatures of 25 to 28°C. Extended skin maceration followed for an additional six to eight days. The wine then went through 100% malolactic conversion to soften the texture before being aged in 225-litre French oak barrels of second and third use for 10 to 12 months.
Intense aromas of sweet plums combine with notes of chocolate and vanilla. Opulent flavours of ripe fruits complement the smooth, velvety, and balanced palate with a long, mouthwatering finish. Simply delicious.

Winery | The vineyard is located in the cool, coastal hills of the Colchagua Valley. Located at 170 metres above sea level, the vines are planted on the southern bank of the Rapel River, near a ravine close to the mouth of the river. It is just 15 kilometres from the Pacific Ocean, providing tremendous maritime influence, with constant coastal breezes cooling the vines. The vineyard is also significantly influenced by the Humboldt Current. Summers are warm, with temperatures of up to 25°C allowing the grapes to reach excellent maturity and concentration of flavours while retaining balancing, natural acidity. The vines are grown in granitic soils with a clay-loam texture, which is poor in organic matter and offers good drainage. |
