- An opulent yet mineral Meursault with expressive aromas of peach layered with floral blossom and lemony tones. It leads to a creamy, elegant palate with a mineral finish. The 2022 vintage experienced intense weather, including frost, heatwaves, and drought at various growth stages. Despite these challenges, the vines produced generous quantities and a captivating balance and freshness that will appeal to wine lovers worldwide.
The house style aims to obtain elegant wines imbued with the nuances of the specific terroir. The grapes were manually sorted as soon as they arrived at the winery. They were then gently pressed in a pneumatic press, allowing perfect juice extraction without overpressing the grapes. Vinification and aging took place in French oak barrels with selected yeasts. The wine was then matured in French oak barrels, with a proportion of 20% new oak, in their 17th-century cellars.
An opulent yet mineral Meursault with expressive aromas of peach, layered with floral blossom and lemony tones, through to a creamy, elegant palate with a mineral finish.

Winery | Meursault’s appellation of origin status dates from 1937, although the soils here were planted with vines by the monks of Cîteaux as early as 1098. The finest soils are found at elevations of 260-270 meters along the Cote d'Or escarpment; they consist of Jurassic marls, marly limestones, and some patches of Magnesian limestone. The hard Comblanchian limestone soils imbue the wines with hints of minerality, a distinctive feature in fine Meursault. The grapes for this wine were harvested from different vineyard parcels located on the flatlands and on the slopes, where they enjoy southern and south-eastern exposures. The climate is typically continental, with cold winters and warm, short summers, and the area can be susceptible to spring frost, requiring vigilance in the vineyard. The vines are meticulously cultivated, and the grapes are hand-harvested at optimal maturity. |
