One of only eighteen remaining Crus Classés from the 1955 classification of Côtes de Provence, Château Sainte Marguerite was bought in 1977 by Brigitte and Jean-Pierre Fayard. They set about developing the vineyard, which was certified organic in 2003, and restoring the farmhouse surrounded by palm trees, which today form the emblem of the domain. The Fayards’ charismatic sons Olivier and Enzo now run the estate with a keen eye for aesthetics – from the exquisite design of the bottles to the dramatic modernist cellar door, which together represents the wine style: Delicate, sleek and evocative.
