Zinfandel is identical to Italy’s Primitivo grape variety, a dark-skinned, early-ripening variety which flourishes in California. The grapes were grown in selected vineyards in California. The vineyards were carefully cultivated throughout the year to ensure the berries reached optimum maturity. Canopy management ensures the vines receive sufficient aeration to keep the vine healthy. The warming Californian sunshine ensures the grapes reach excellent maturity, producing juice bursting with varietal fruit flavours.
