- Grape 75% Zinfandel, 25% Petite Sirah

- This Zinfandel displays inviting raspberry preserves, blackberry, and sweet spice aromas. Dark, brambly berry flavours lead on the palate with hints of white pepper and spice. More of a Claret style than a blockbuster, the smooth, soft tannins round out the palate for a beautiful, lingering finish
The core of the blend comes from Paso Robles, one of California's best warmer climate zones, located on the Central Coast south of Monterey. The remainder is from Lake County, north of Napa.

Winery | The Sebastiani family owns one of the longest-established wineries in California. It was founded in 1904 and survived Prohibition and the Great Depression to remain at the forefront of Sonoma County winemaking. A century’s history seems not to have dented the company’s dynamism: it is one of the top hundred on-trade brands in the US and is growing sales substantially ahead of the market. The winemaker, Mark Lyon, has been with Sebastiani since 1979. He brings an intimate knowledge of the region and how to best express it in the bottle, with clarity of fruit, generosity of structure, and sensitive use of oak. |
