- This sweet wine exudes a symphony of aromas, including ripe peach, succulent apricot, tropical lychee, luscious mango, and zesty orange, all intertwined with delicate floral hints and the warmth of honey. Its palate is a perfect balance of sweetness and refreshing acidity, revealing an intense and luxurious sensory experience. Tantalizing mineral undertones weave through the enduring finish, adding layers of depth and complexity. The spring witnessed temperatures soaring above the usual, leading to early bud formation and an accelerated flowering process due to sustained warmth in May. Diligent vineyard management and timely showers shielded the vines from the summer's intense heat, ensuring stress-free growth. The highly anticipated harvest commenced nearly a fortnight earlier than usual, with impeccable weather nurturing grapes of extraordinary quality. As a result, the white wines showcase a harmonious blend of refined fruitiness and well-balanced acidity.

The grapes were late harvested during December. The hand-picked berries were delivered in small containers. The grapes were macerated for approximately 12 hours and then gently pressed under a pressure of 1.8 bar. The wine was fermented with wild yeasts at 19°C in barriques, followed by six to nine months of ageing in the same barriques.
Elegant and opulent, this sweet wine combines intense aromas of peach, apricot, lychee, mango and orange zest with lifted floral notes and honey. Refreshing acidity harmoniously balances the rich, sweet and intensely aromatic palate, while refined and elegant mineral notes add complexity to the long-lasting finish.

Winery | The Gewurztraminer vines are planted between 400 and 500 metres above sea level in the small hamlet of Söll, above the village of Tramin. The vines are between 15 to 25 years old and yield 19 hectolitres per hectare. The soil comprises clay and gravel, with a limestone layer from 20 to 100cm and porphyry bedrock. The vineyard site does not endure the winds from Lake Garda because it is planted in a small bowl formed by the surrounding hills – this shelter helps develop Botrytis Cinerea, essential to producing high-quality late-harvest wine. |
